There are so many stories in automotive and motorsport that never quite get the space they deserve.

Some are overlooked, hidden by other incredible stories and competing for space, others remain untold on mass, but floating around the grassroots arenas and others belong to people we all recognise but have never truly had the chance to hear from. These stories are essentially an extension of my popular Sunday Story series on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, where I have less than 3 minutes to share the highlights. Now, I have as long as I need.

That’s where Belinda Automotive: The Road is Ours begins.

This new podcast series is built on a simple idea: to create space for stories across the automotive and motorsport world that reflect the diversity and reality of this industry. It starts with a strong focus on women whose voices and experiences have often been underrepresented, but it doesn’t stop there, as over time I aim to broaden the stories, exploring equity more widely and opening the conversation to all voices that shape this space.

After all, the road has never belonged to just one group of people.

Through this series, I’ll be sitting down with individuals from across the industry, including those you will know instantly and others you may be hearing from for the first time. You'll hear stories that shock you, but that also help inspire change! Alongside these conversations there will also be solo episodes that shine a light on incredible people within the industry, telling their stories in a thoughtful and engaging way. The first is dedicated to the incredible Sabine Schmitz, who was an iconic professional racing driver and who touched the hearts of many.

There will be stories of career journeys, including the unexpected turns, moments of doubt and decisions that changed everything, alongside reflections on what still needs to change today. It will also be space to look back and revisit stories that have shaped automotive and motorsport as we know it, giving them the opportunity to be told in a Belinda way.

Over the coming weeks, my focus is on bringing these stories to life in a way that feels natural, engaging and worth your time, through conversations you can connect with, stories you can see yourself in and perspectives that might challenge what you thought you knew.

Episodes will be available on YouTube and Spotify, making it easy to watch or listen in a way that suits you.
